Introduction
The purpose of this knowledge article is to help users create a 'Custom Region' within BidTabs.NET. Configuring a Custom Region allows you to specify which counties that you are wanting to collect data on throughout the various reports within BidTabs.
STEP-BY- STEP
Step 1:
Navigate to the 'By Contractor' section in BidTabs. (Note: this can be accessed through multiple windows within BidTabs where there is an option to "Select Location"). Click the gear icon also known as the settings option. This will open a window that displays all the current region options available.
Step 2:
At the bottom of the 'Custom Region' window you will click the "Add Region" button.
Step 3:
A new window will open where you will add the desired name of the custom region and an option to either have the region 'Private' which is only visible to you or 'Public' which can be used by all other licensed users. Once you are done click 'Save'.
Step 4:
Your newly named Custom Region will be at the bottom so scroll down and click your custom region to display the map. Now you will click on the counties you wish to have included in your 'Custom Region' view, then click save upon completion. You are done! When running reports or analysis you can find your custom region as an option from the drop down list under "Region" at "Select Location".
