Introduction
This article will elaborate on the menu buttons across the TOP of the PLUS portion of BidTabs.
Save: This will save the Job as you're working in it. (Ctrl+S).
Add Pay Item: Add a New Pay Item to your Job.
Add Categories: Add categories to the Job (Asphalt, Base Stone, etc). Once defined, you can then drag and drop Pay Items (on the right hand side) to the Category (left hand side). Categories allow you to organize Pay Items into a group (Category) to then see totals within a certain Category.
Totals: Populate a graph to visually see the Totals across your Categories.
Options: The options allow you to do a number of things within the Project itself.
Import: Import more Pay Items from a DOT file, Spreadsheet, Batch Loading, a different PLUS Project, or Merge different Projects into one Project.
Export: Export allows you to export the Job into a DOT File, .CSV file, .XLS file, and a few other options. You can select certain Pay Items within the Job (Shift+Click to Highlight) and choose to export "Selected" Items.
Batch Load: Add Pay Items to the Job (defined by the State in Project Settings) in a batch format. Select Pay Items from the left by either double clicking, using the arrows, or shift clicking to multi-select. This allows an easy way to batch load multiple Pay Items in one action.
